
Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan Receives Professor Timothy O. Tayo
FCAIB receives Professor Timothy O. Tayo, pioneer Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University and former Deputy Vice-Chancellor of FUNAAB, on a courtesy visit focused on education, agriculture and institutional development.
Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan today received Professor Timothy O. Tayo who paid a courtesy visit to the College.
Professor Tayo, a respected academic and university administrator, was the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University. He also served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
He was warmly received by the Provost of the College, Professor Jonathan J. Atungwu, together with members of the FCAIB Management Team.
The Provost expressed his happiness to receive Professor Tayo and thanked him for finding time to visit the College. The two academics exchanged pleasantries and discussed matters relating to education, agriculture and the development of higher institutions.
For FCAIB, the visit was a welcome opportunity to receive a senior academic with many years of experience in university administration. Professor Tayo’s interaction with the College leadership also offered an opportunity to share experiences and ideas that could be useful to the continued development of the institution.
The visit further strengthened the relationship between FCAIB and a distinguished member of the academic community. It also provided an avenue for the College to benefit from Professor Tayo’s experience and perspective on the future of agricultural education.
The Management of FCAIB appreciated Professor Tayo for the visit and for the goodwill shown towards the College.
The visit ended on a friendly note with both sides expressing their appreciation for the meeting and their best wishes for the continued progress of FCAIB.
