The send-forth programme was organized to appreciate and celebrate College retirees (2011-2023) who have devoted their time (during active service) to contributing to the growth and development of Federal College of Agriculture (FCA), Ibadan.
In her welcome address, the Provost of the College, Dr. Elizabeth Oluwakemi Augustus, blessed the name of God the day was finally here.
“We have always acknowledged the efforts and prayers of our retirees, and to keep them close as well as abreast of events in the College, we created a whatsapp platform to relate with these honourable class of FCA, Ibadan family. You have contributed your very best at different capacities towards the development of our dear College and it is our prayer that God rewards you abundantly. We therefore celebrate you on this special day”, the Provost submitted.
She also added that the College is building on the foundation and groundworks the retirees have laid for a better College and this has resulted into the development seen around the College today. She equally stated that the Institution is not resting on her oars at making the retirees proud and by the grace of Almighty God, FCA, Ibadan shall continue to deliver on her mandate and vision. “WITH GOD ON OUR SIDE, WE WILL DO THE IMPOSSIBLE”.
This remarkable event also featured the commissioning of College Creche, which has been the desire of the current administration of the College, especially, to provide such needed services for staff members and the public at large.
