It is with great pleasure that we inform the general public that His Excellency the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, through the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security (FMAFS) on Monday, 14th April, 2025 approved the appointment of Professor Jonathan Jeremiah Atungwu as the Substantive Provost of the College, with effect from 14th April, 2025 for
a single term of Five (5) years (non-renewable).
Until his appointment, Jonathan Jeremiah Atungwu, a Professor of Plant Nematology in the Department of Crop Protection, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB) was the immediate past President of Nigerian Society of Plant Protection (NSPP).
