Provost Wins Better Nigeria in Practice (BNP) Award


The Executive Provost of the College, Engr. Dr. Babajide Adelekan has been honoured with Meritorious Service Award on Tuesday, 22nd November, 2016. The award which was organized by Better Nigeria in Practice (BNP), Abuja.

The non-govermental organization selected the Provost for the award after due consultation from the Ministry of Agriculture through the Supervising body and other stakeholders in field and area of agriculture in the country.

Better Nigeria in Practice is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that is out to preach against anti-social vices and re-orientate the nation towards positive thinking in order to achieve peaceful co-existence among Nigerians.

They also render humanitarian services to the Nation through the periodic and regular visitation to motherless babies homes, hospitals, prisons, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps among others in order to elevate poverty in the society.

Speaking at the colorful event held at the Conference room of the Provost office at Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan Nigeria are all the management staff of the College, including Engr. Dr. A.O.D Adejumo, Dr. M.O.Adenekan, Dr. M.O. Sodamola, among others congratulating and commending the leadership of the college for the well deserved award.
